Trine University Choir performing April 29

The Trine University Choir, directed by Geoffrey North, D.M., will present a concert, “Songs of Hope, Joy and Peace,” beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 29, in Ryan Concert Hall inside the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts.

The program is free and open to the public. 

This concert will feature uplifting music including the exciting “Salmo 150” by Ernani Aguiar, the beautiful “The Seal Lullaby,” by Eric Whitacre, and the moving “I Believe” by Mark Miller. The concert also will feature several rousing gospel pieces and other music from the Christian faith tradition.

University Choir members are Morgan Barrasas, a freshman from Hobart; Jacob Brutcher, a sophomore from New Palestine; Spencer Faull, a senior from Harlan; Joshua Jennings, a sophomore from Johnstown, Ohio; Ryan Kosek, a sophomore from South Bend; Aaron Titkemeier, a sophomore from Luckey, Ohio; Taylor Beery, a freshman from Mishawaka; Anna Favalon, a sophomore from Wooster, Ohio; Brett Husar, a freshman from St. Charles, Illinois; Jackson Jelenic, a sophomore from Clyde, Ohio; Chelsey Kohlenberg, a freshman from Fremont, Ohio; Megan Miller, a junior from Angola; Kendra Perkins, a freshman from Kokomo; Chloe Rahn, a sophomore from Danville; Evan Warfel, a senior from Waxhaw, North Carolina; Celeste Wentworth, a freshman from Howe; and Garrett Widman, a freshman from Clyde, Ohio.
