Baumgartner, LaBarbera receive Healthcare Awards
FORT WAYNE – Max Baumgartner, P.T., Ph.D., dean of the Rinker-Ross School of Health Sciences, and Dawn LaBarbera, Ph.D., PA-C, DFAAPA, director of Trine University’s emerging Master of Physician Assistant Studies program, were honored with 2017 Healthcare Awards from Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly on Thursday, Oct. 26.
LaBarbera, left, was named the Physician Assistant of the Year. Baumgartner received the Advancement in Healthcare Award.
LaBarbera and Baumgartner were honored at a special awards dinner at the Allen County Memorial Coliseum Conference Center. The awards recognize individuals and organizations making significant contributions to the quality of health care in northeast Indiana. The honorees — 13 in all — were selected by a panel of judges from nominations submitted online.
