Playing for Pets raises more than $1,100
The annual Playing for Pets video game event raised more than $1,100 for the Steuben County Humane Shelter.
Held from 8 a.m. April 13 to 8 a.m. April 14, Playing for Pets drew more than 110 participants from Trine University students, staff and the community, and 32 donors, who contributed $1,102.
New to the event this year was a cosplay contest, won by Levi Cole, a sophomore from Bangor, Michigan, majoring in design engineering technology, who dressed as the villain Scarecrow from the video game Batman: Arkham Asylum.
