Today is Trine Day!
Today, April 11, Trine University is celebrating its second annual Trine Day, inviting individuals to support the university with a charitable contribution and celebrate by dressing in their favorite Trine gear. All alumni, parents, friends, students, faculty and staff will unite on one day, in one voice, to make an investment in the future of Trine.
Last year’s Trine Day event raised $83,000 from 254 donors. This year’s goal is $90,000 raised from at least 300 different donors.
One hundred percent of your Trine Day gift goes directly where you designate it: your college, school or any area you are passionate about at Trine, including undergraduate scholarships, sports teams and campus programs.
Your contributions can have an even bigger impact than usual, thanks to generous supporters who will provide challenge funds. By making a gift during Trine Day, you can help your favorite areas of Trine win these challenge funds, doubling the impact of your gift or more:
- Those who have never given to Tri-State or Trine will have their gift matched 3-to-1.
- Parents making a gift on Trine Day will have a dollar-for-dollar match.
- Make your gift before noon EDT on Trine Day and receive a 1-to-1 match.
All challenge gifts are matched while matching funds are available. Throughout the day, we will show progress of these challenges.
Donate $100 or more and receive a special pair of Trine University socks, while supplies last. Those on campus will have the opportunity to participate in games and activities in the University Center mall by making a donation on Trine Day.
There are so many ways in addition to giving to show your Thunder spirit on Trine Day! Become a Trine Day Ambassador by signing up and spreading the word with your friends, family and networks. Encourage them via Facebook or Twitter to make their gift, or send an email or text message with a link to our Trine Day page. Post about Trine Day across your social media channels using the #TrineDay hashtag! Whatever method you choose, your voice will make an enormous difference in the success of Trine Day.
