Pittman honored as South Bend Regional Chamber Ambassador of the Year
SOUTH BEND — Nick Pittman, director of admission for engineering/technology programs, TrineOnline, recently was named Ambassador of the Year for 2019 by the South Bend Regional Chamber.
The award was presented to Pittman at the chamber’s annual holiday party in December. His name also was added to a plaque in the chamber’s office.
“Nick shows up for events, has a smile on his face, offers insightful input and is just a good man,” said Rick Zeeff, director of member relations for the South Bend Regional Chamber. “When I’ve asked for assistance, he doesn’t hesitate. He represents the chamber by talking to members and understanding what we do and how we offer value to the community. We’re fortunate and happy to have him on our team.”
Ambassadors support the chamber's mission by helping grow and maintain a strong membership base, assisting with the implementation of activities that support membership recruitment, engagement and retention. Ambassadors are volunteers who interact with fellow chamber members to provide information and answer questions about the chamber, serving as an additional resource and communication link between the chamber and its members, guests and the community.
