Trine University in Angola, Indiana, invites applications for a part-time position to teach ESL (English as a Second Language) classes to international students for the Fall 2015 semester.

The ideal candidate will have overseas teaching and living experience, cultural awareness, an immense amount of patience and a commitment to serving students. Consideration will also be given to candidates with ESL/ENL certification. 

The candidate must be available for several hours during the week of August 17-21 for organizational meetings; classes begin August 24, 2015.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching
  • Commitment to serving students
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Good computer software skills - Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, etc., Outlook E-mail and Calendar, and strong Internet familiarity


Salary is prorated based on the number of credit hours taught and the number of students registered for the class being taught.
