Trine University School of Professional Studies, Warsaw campus invites applications for part-time Adjunct engineering faculty positions for courses offered during the day and evening. Ideally, the position will be filled prior to the spring semester, which begins January 2016.
The ideal candidate will have extensive industrial experience and the ability to teach a wide variety of undergraduate engineering technology, mechanical, and biomedical engineering courses, including statics, strength of materials, SolidWorks, NX, Solid and Fluid Mechanics, Intro to Biomedical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering Analysis. Preference will be given to applicants having relevant expertise and the ability to teach engineering courses and labs during the day and in the evenings. Excellent English, written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are a must. This position is a teaching position, hence, a strong commitment to teaching is required.
Education and/or Experience:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical engineering or Engineering Technology and a master’s degree in engineering or a closely related field.
Salary is prorated based on the number of credit hours taught and the number of students registered for the class being taught.
