Adjunct Professor - Business Law

Summary:

Trine University is seeking a part-time instructor to organize and teach a Business Law course.  The purpose of the course is to introduce business students to the American legal system. It includes a survey of courts, legal procedures, torts, and criminal law. It involves a study of the common law of contracts, including contract formation, performance, breach and remedies, as well as a study of the law of sales under the Uniform Commercial Code.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate excellent oral communication, interpersonal and written skills.

  • Knowledgeable in the field of marketing, especially in the areas directly related to retail management.

  • Prepare and present course material for students.

  • Evaluate and provide feedback to students.

Salary:

Compensation is prorated based on the number of credit hours taught and the number of students registered for the class being taught.
