MBA, Indiana Tech
At Trine, I teach business and quantitative classes. In addition to teaching, I recently retired as the director of quality for Superior Essex, North American Magnet Wire Division, Fort Wayne, Indiana. I worked for Superior Essex for more than 40 years with executive leadership responsibilities that included Operations, Quality, Sales, and Technical Engineering.
I have been happily married to my wife Amy, for 44 years. I have two adult children, Brandon and Caitlin, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. I retired to a lake home north of Columbia City, Indiana, where I enjoy fishing, swimming, and entertaining friends and family. I love to play guitar and have a small collection of my favorites.
My credentials include an MBA from Indiana Tech as well as various other professional certifications. I am a Six Sigma Green Belt, educated in quality engineering, and I have completed course work for an ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt. My passions in addition to teaching are mathematics, quantitative analysis and statistics. I am extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to use statistics and data analysis most of my career.
In today's fact-based decision-making environment, I am privileged to be able to share with my students my experiences in leadership, quantitative methods, and other professional business achievements.
