I’m a proud Trine alum who’s excited to return to the place that shaped so much of who I am—this time as a faculty member. As a student, I was deeply involved across campus with numerous organizations. Those experiences gave me a strong foundation not only in leadership and collaboration, but also in the kind of community I now look forward to fostering with my own students.

That passion took me to Purdue, where I worked with hypergolic propellants and spent a good chunk of time around high-pressure systems, catalysts, and vacuum chambers that mimicked the edge of space. Basically, if it involved things going fast, hot, or boom—I was probably into it.

Now I teach mechanical engineering with a focus on aerospace topics. I’m beyond excited to be back at Trine, helping students explore the same fields that lit a fire in me (metaphorically… so far).

Outside the classroom, I’m a die-hard sports fan—especially when it comes to basketball and football. Growing up in Indiana, loving basketball isn’t just a pastime—it’s part of your DNA.
