By Indiana law, Trine is an "approved postsecondary educational institution" under Indiana code 1C 21-7-13-6. (Indiana Commission for Higher Education, www.che.in.gov).

Trine's programs in  chemical civil electrical computer  and  mechanical  engineering (as delivered on the main campus) are accredited by the  Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET http://www.abet.org .

Master of Physician Assistant Program

The ARC-PA has granted Accreditation-Provisional status to the Trine University Physician Assistant Program sponsored by Trine University.

Accreditation - Provisional is an accreditation status granted when the plans and resource allocation, if fully implemented as planned, of a proposed program that has not yet enrolled students appear to demonstrate the program’s ability to meet the ARC-PA Standards or when a program holding Accreditation-Provisional status appears to demonstrate continued progress in complying with the Standards as it prepares for the graduation of the first class (cohort) of students.

Accreditation-Provisional does not ensure any subsequent accreditation status. It is limited to no more than five years from matriculation of the first class.


Ketner School of Business
College of Graduate and Professional Studies undergraduate business programs

The Ketner School of Business and the College of Graduate and Professional Studies received accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).  Accredited programs are the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Applied Management, Associate in Accounting and Associate in Business Administration.
