Professor Liberatore
My mission is to educate chemical engineering students to become creative, industrious engineers and leaders with integrity.
While teaching, research, and service are all central to being an engineering professor, working with others and within teams is paramount. Our team's creativity and scholarship are primarily shared through publications.
Engineering education: Creating, adapting, and studying active and self-directed learning tools, including student-created problems that reverse engineering of YouTube videos and the learning analytics of interactive textbooks for Material and Energy Balances, Thermodynamics, and Spreadsheets.
Rheology: Engineering new materials created or altered by flow. Specifically, our group performs unique rheology measurements on a range of polymer, colloid, and surfactant systems.
