In the Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering program, you will be immersed in the fundamental tools of modern mechanical engineering, including advanced mathematics, physics, laboratory testing and computer simulation. For the aerospace engineering minor, you will take advanced engineering courses covering the topics of aerodynamics, vehicle structures, reaction engines, and aircraft stability and control.

What will I get to do?

Practical designs are the result of any engineering effort, and beginning as a freshman, you will be exposed to project work emphasizing engineering design. Project management, design and manufacture techniques are learned through hands-on involvement in the laboratories and brought to life in a year-long senior design project completed in your senior year.

You also will develop specialized lab skills utilizing Trine's subsonic and supersonic wind tunnels.
