Campus resources

We are committed to your success as a Trine University student! Here are a few of the resources available to support you on your journey.

Students can utilize the Student Accounts/Business Office as their primary resource for all financial matters related to their on-campus experience. Located in Forman Hall, the office manages the billing of tuition, fees, and on-campus room and board. Students can make payments through various options, including online credit/debit card or eCheck/ACH payments, or by mailing a check.

Students benefit directly from the Campus Operations department's tireless work to maintain a safe, clean, and functional campus environment. While their efforts are often "behind the scenes," their services are crucial for a student's daily life. The department is responsible for the upkeep of residence halls, academic buildings, and all campus grounds, ensuring that everything from classroom furniture to dorm room plumbing is in working order. This means students can rely on Campus Operations to promptly address any facilities-related issues they encounter, such as a leaky faucet or a broken light fixture, by simply submitting a maintenance request. By maintaining the campus facilities, the department helps ensure students have an environment where they  can focus on their studies and overall college experience.

Students can rely on the Campus Safety Department to help create a secure living and learning environment.  The department's officers are on duty 24/7 and patrol campus, including residence halls, to protect life and property. Students can contact an officer at any time via phone at 260-316-1877 for assistance. In case of an emergency, students should first call 911 and then notify Campus Safety.

The department provides safety escort services for students, faculty, and staff, where an officer will walk or drive them to their destination on campus. In addition to patrols and escorts, Campus Safety manages the mass notification system to alert students of emergencies. The department also encourages proactive measures, such as locking doors and reporting suspicious activity to the anonymous tip line at 260-665-4700. For specific information regarding parking permits and vehicle registration, students can find details on the Campus Safety website.

Students can utilize the free and confidential counseling services to address a variety of personal and social challenges. The licensed mental health clinicians provide short-term, solution-focused counseling for issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. The services are designed to help students overcome problems that may impede their academic and social success, while also emphasizing overall wellness.

To schedule an appointment, students can email counseling@trine.edu or contact one of the clinicians directly via the contact information provided on the website. In case of a crisis or for after-hours support, the website provides a comprehensive list of external resources, including crisis hotlines and local mental health centers, along with a reminder to call 911 for emergencies
