A construction worker tears down part of the remaining wall of the former Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity house Wednesday on the campus of Trine University. Work began to remove two former fraternity houses and the building that housed the TGear sports apparel store to make way for the Thunder Ice Arena, which will open in Fall 2017 and serve as the home of Trine’s men’s and women’s hockey teams. Trine University has received a grant from the Indiana Space Grant Consortium (INSGC) to support students conducting advanced aerospace composite research.
While some consider the number 13 unlucky, for Trine University graduates, it’s evidence of continued excellence.
Ellen Paxton has joined Trine University as assistant vice president of advancement, bringing more than 25 years of experience in fundraising and institutional promotion to the position.
