A construction worker tears down part of the remaining wall of the former Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity house Wednesday on the campus of Trine University. Work began to remove two former fraternity houses and the building that housed the TGear sports apparel store to make way for the Thunder Ice Arena, which will open in Fall 2017 and serve as the home of Trine’s men’s and women’s hockey teams. Injuries sustained during the Gulf War robbed Chester Evitt of the ability to enjoy archery. A Trine University senior design group is working to give that ability back to him.
Trine University will welcome country legend T.G. Sheppard for a concert at the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts on May 29.
Trine University welcomed 124 high school students and ten educators from across Indiana, Michigan and Ohio on Feb. 24 for its annual "Impact Your Future" outreach day.
