Demolition

A construction worker tears down part of the remaining wall of the former Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity house Wednesday on the campus of Trine University. Work began to remove two former fraternity houses and the building that housed the TGear sports apparel store to make way for the Thunder Ice Arena, which will open in Fall 2017 and serve as the home of Trine’s men’s and women’s hockey teams. Views from webcams showing progress on the arena and on the Best Hall expansion are available at trine.edu/webcam
