Cameron Crenshaw, right, a senior from St. Paul, Indiana, majoring in mechanical engineering, demonstrates a LEGO robot Tuesday morning in Fawick Hall to students in the Mindstorms Education LEGO Camp at Trine University. The hands-on course exposes students to basic robotics via LEGO Mindstorms. The university has 34 students registered for LEGO Robotics Kids Camps this week and next, with some openings remaining for the morning session of next week’s Mindstorms Green City camp. Education One’s first cohort of instant admit students settle into campus life

As a higher education authorizer, Education One at Trine University understands the importance of providing all public charter school students with equitable access to post-secondary educational opportunities, regardless of socioeconomic background. To address access barriers that exist for marginalized students in these Trine-sponsored charter schools, the authorizing office has teamed up with additional university personnel to intentionally expose Trine charter students to campus and the instant admissions process.
