Zamboni delivered to Trine campus

Steve Gusa, right, ice hockey arena technician at Trine University, directs a truck and trailer unloading a Zamboni on Thursday, July 27, for the university’s new Thunder Ice Arena. The Zamboni Model 500 is being loaned to the university by Mid America Rink Services in Kalamazoo, Michigan, until Trine receives a brand-new Zamboni early next year. The Zamboni will begin maintaining the ice in the arena as early as Friday, July 28, and will be rebranded with Trine graphics during its use at the university.
