February 16, 2018

Sixty-six companies participated in Trine University’s All Majors Career and Internship Fair, held Feb. 1 in the Rick L. and Vicki L. James University Center, including 19 new companies.

About 350 students attended, and hundreds of post-event interviews are anticipated.

“All the staff and students were very kind and helpful,” read a post-event comment from Tippmann Group, one of this year’s new companies. “I will be happy to come back to Trine in the future!”

“I’m always impressed with the outstanding interactions that our students have with employers, and how polished the students look. They are well-prepared and represent us well,” said Jason Blume, executive director of Innovation One at Trine University. “I had one employer tell me he wished he had more jobs available because he wanted to employ more of our students!”

Sponsors for the fair were: Gold — LHP Engineering Solutions, Ariel, Parker, SDI; Silver — Martinrea, MedPro Group, Chase Brass, Federated Insurance; Bronze — Troyer Group, North Star Blue Scope Steel, Shambaugh & Son, Modis, Tippmann Group, PHD and Crossroads Engineers.
