Trine University President Earl D. Brooks II, Ph.D., right, welcomed Indiana Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch to the Trine University campus on Thursday, May 31. Crouch is in the midst of a four-day visit to the Steuben County area, and came to Trine to meet with several community leaders, including the mayors of Angola and Kendallville. Alumni, employees and friends of Trine University contributed more than $140,000 to Trine University scholarships, renovations and other areas during Giving Tuesday on Dec. 2.
Trine University has received grant funding from Ansys, an engineering simulation and 3D design software company, to expand simulation-based learning across key mechanical and aerospace engineering courses.
Two students in Trine University’s Allen School of Engineering and Computing were inducted into the Order of the Engineer during a ceremony on Dec. 3.
