Stone featured in newspaper, TV stories

Trine University Campus Safety Officer Doug Stone was featured in recent newspaper and television stories covering an award he received from the National Association of Campus Safety Administrators (NACSA).

Stone was honored as Officer of the Year in the non-sworn category by NACSA at its national conference in July.

A story in the Aug. 27 Journal Gazette noted that Stone is "committed to protecting students." In a story on WANE-TV, Keith Hefner, director of campus safety, says Stone epitomizes the ideals of Trine's campus safety program.
