HAC Book Night distributes more than 1,300 books

HAC Book Night

Trine University’s seventh annual HAC Book Night on April 17 gave away 1,335 books to students and members of the community.

The event offered tables of books collected from throughout the Angola community. Anyone was invited to take books free of charge.

HAC Book Night also included refreshments, poetry readings and prize drawings.

Literary-themed gift baskets were awarded to:

  • Nikko Rivera, a Trine University senior from Fort Wayne, Indiana, majoring in exercise science
  • Jonah Blanchard, a Trine University freshman from Wauseon, Ohio, majoring in chemical engineering, and
  • Hannah Johns, a Trine University junior from Millbury, Ohio, majoring in civil engineering.

Trine University’s Department of Humanities and Communications (HAC) is planning two Book Nights during the next school year, one in October and the other in April.
