Area students attend spring Teacher By Trine

About 20 students attended the first spring offering of Trine University’s Teacher By Trine education summit on Friday, March 22. Students from Carroll, Fairfield, Fremont and Westview high schools considering education for a career participated in breakout sessions led by Trine University faculty on topics such as logical consequences in a classroom setting, adopting a growth mindset for students, and needs that must be met for students to perform at full potential. Trine students experience broader world of chemistry at national ACS conference

Two Trine University students — Chloe Laird, a chemical engineering major from Warsaw, Indiana, and Makenzie Amich, a forensic science major from Thorntown, Indiana — recently had the opportunity to connect with thousands of chemistry professionals and students from across the country at the American Chemical Society (ACS) national meeting in Chicago.
