Introduction to Engineering at Hendry Park

Thirty-two Trine University students and about 50 Hendry Park Elementary School students participated in the Introduction to Engineering outreach event at Hendry Park Elementary School on Monday night, Feb. 17. The event was part of the Discover Engineers Week competition at Trine, which continues through Friday, Feb. 22. The Hendry Park event was sponsored by Trine’s chapter of the Society of Women Engineers. SWE invited each engineering department to develop an interactive, hands-on activity for grades K-5 students.
