September 15, 2021

The readers of Fort Wayne Newspapers have voted Trine University the Best College in the Greater Fort Wayne region.

The recognition was announced in today’s (Sept. 19) Journal Gazette as part of the newspaper’s annual Readers’ Choice awards. Journal Gazette readers voted for the best in each of 260 categories.

“We are grateful to the readers of the Journal Gazette for selecting us the Best College in this region. Greater Fort Wayne is home to a number of quality institutions of higher education, and to be recognized as the best among them is a high honor,” said Trine University President Earl D. Brooks II, Ph.D.

“There are many who share in this award, but especially the faculty and staff who work hard and are so dedicated to our mission and vision – from the housekeeping and grounds staff who keep our campus clean and beautiful to the faculty who provide excellence education to our students. All of us in university leadership appreciate your commitment to excellence, and thank you for all that you do.”

The award joins many other recognitions Trine University has received, including being named to Best lists by U.S. News & World Report, Princeton Review and Money.
