Trine podcast features sports broadcasting app co-founder

Evan KirkhamEvan Kirkham, co-founder of Colorcast, an app that allows anyone to provide live commentary on sporting events, shares about his app and the story of its development in the newest episode of Trine University’s Center for Sports Studies podcast.

The Colorcast app, available for iOS devices in the Apple App Store, lets anyone watching a game provide live commentary that others can subscribe to, using only their iPhone. Users can also create their own show or provide hot takes on current topics in sports.

Kirkham shares the story of how, while watching a Dallas Cowboys game, he left his career as a corporate attorney to co-found the company. He also shares best practices for using the app and tips for how Colorcast users can build and monetize their following.

Produced through the Trine Broadcasting Network, the Trine Center for Sports Studies podcast focuses on the business side of sports, including interviews with sports professionals and current research in sports studies.
