Trine choir, orchestra in concert Oct. 29

The Trine University Choir, directed by Geoffrey North, D.Mus, and the Trine University Orchestra, directed by Peter Weinert, Ph.D., will perform a joint fall concert on Sunday, Oct. 29, at 3 p.m. in the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts.

This event is free and open to the public.

The orchestra will perform: “American Landscape” by Soon Hee Newbold; “Brook Green Suite” by Gustav Holst; “Tragic Overture” by Johannes Brahms, arranged by Vernon Leidig; “Down a Country Lane” by Aaron Copland; and “March to the Scaffold” by Hector Berlioz, arranged by Richard Meyer

The choir will perform “Gabi, Gabi,” arranged by William C. Powell; “We Rise Again,” arranged by Stephen Smith; “Loch Lomond,” arranged by Douglas E Wagner; “Autumn Leaves,” by Johny Kosma/Joseph Kosma; “Another Day of Sun” from “La La Land” by Benj Pasek/Justin Paul/Justin Hurwitz, arranged by Jacob Narverud; “Duct Tape” by Mark Burrows; “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” by Eric Idle; and “Nightmare Before Christmas (medley),” arranged by Alan Billingsley.
