September 18, 2023

RestonRESTON, Va. — Trine University will begin offering classes at its new Reston, Virginia, education center in October.

Located at 1881 Campus Commons Drive, the center will offer four master’s degrees in a hybrid format, following approval by the Higher Learning Commission, State of Virginia Council for Higher Education, and Student Exchange Visitor Program.

Trine already enrolls more than 7,000 students in similar programs offered at education centers in Detroit and Phoenix.

“Students enjoy the opportunity to gain the skills needed to advance their career by earning a master’s degree in our convenient hybrid format,” said David Colbert, assistant vice president of international services and global partnerships at Trine. “We’re excited to bring this opportunity to Reston.”

Reston students will be able to choose from Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Business Analytics, Master of Science in Engineering Management, and Master of Science in Information Studies degree programs. All four programs offer an optional accelerated one-year program.

The Master of Business Administration program strengthens skills and marketability through intensely focused options in finance and management.

Students in the Master of Science in Business Analytics are prepared to make and inform strategic decisions regarding business activities, analyze business data, and solve supply chain logistics.

The Master of Science in Engineering Management degree provides real-world business management training to those who are in an engineering role, allowing them to enhance their career path.

Master of Science in Information Studies students build technological leadership skills in analysis, design, development, maintenance and operation of information systems.
