“When our chapter was called up for three different National awards, I felt such pure happiness,” said Jama Cottengim, chapter president and an exercise science/pre-physical therapy major at Trine. “It felt amazing to see all of the hard work pay off! I was and am so proud to represent this amazing organization! The women I get to work with truly make everything worth it. I cannot wait to see what we do in the next two years when Convention comes around again!”
Besides Cottengim, Vice President of Operations Kaci McComis, an English education major, Vice President of Growth Sam Meis, an exercise science/pre-physical therapy major, and Vice President of Organization Development Sarah Ryan, a civil engineering major, were present to accept the award. Chapter Advisor Rachel Detlev and Member Development Advisor Nicholle Potter Prosbt, both Epsilon Kappa Chapter alumnae, were also in attendance.
In addition, Detlev won the Carrie W. Staehle Award, which honors initiated Chapter Advisory Board members for exceptional service to their chapters and to the Sorority.
Probst was elected to serve on the 2024-2026 National Council as a vice president. The National Council leads the Sorority in developing and meeting strategic initiatives. It consists of one president and five vice presidents, one of whom must be a collegian at the time of election.
