Basketball Congressional Resolutions

Representatives from the offices of Indiana’s senators, Mike Braun and Todd Young, and Rep. Jim Banks (R-3rd) presented Trine University men’s basketball Coach Brooks Miller with copies of Congressional resolutions honoring the Thunder for their NCAA Division III national championship.

Miller was presented with the resolutions at the MTI Center on Wednesday, April 24.

Dated March 21, 2024, Banks’ resolution reads, in part: “This season, Trine has reminded Hoosiers why we love the game of basketball. They have exhibited all the traits that make the game so compelling. Not only have they excited and entertained their audiences in Northeast Indiana and beyond, but their dedication, hard work and will to win have inspired them.”

The Senate resolution will be presented jointly by U.S. Sens. Braun and Young at a later date.
