November 04, 2024

The cast of the Trine University Theatre production of “The Mousetrap” poses in character. The play opens this Thursday, Nov. 7, in the Ryan Concert Hall of the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts and continues through Saturday.

Tickets are available at trine.edu/furthtickets. Tickets are $10 general admission, $5 for students ages 5-17 and free for Trine students and employees.

A murder mystery by Agatha Christie, “The Mousetrap” is the world’s longest-running play, having been performed continuously in London’s West End since 1952, with stage performances temporarily halted during the COVID-19 pandemic. The plot centers on seven strangers snowed in at a remote guesthouse in the country and their connection to a murder in London.

Standing, from left, are Dominic Garner (Major Metcalf), Cade Tucker (Sergeant Trotter), Judah Witmer (Mr. Paravicini), Benjamin Hercules (Giles Ralston), Adam Breen (Voice on the Radio) and Jonah Kyle (Christopher Wren). Seated are: Sage Scherzer (Mrs. Boyle), Macy Bonifield (Mollie Ralston) and Evyenia Butterfield (Miss Casewell).
