U.S. News & World Report has recognized Trine University in its 2025 Best Colleges
rankings, released Sept. 24.
Trine was included in the publication’s top 20 Midwest regional colleges, as well
as its rankings for social mobility and undergraduate engineering.
US News says the social mobility list recognizes institutions that are more successful
at advancing social mobility by enrolling and graduating large proportions of disadvantaged
students.
“We’re pleased that U.S. News & World Report has once again recognized Trine University
not only for its overall excellence, but for the opportunities the university provides
to all students, as evidenced by our 99% job placement rate,” said Earl D. Brooks
II, Ph.D., Trine University president. “This and many other reasons are why record
numbers of students continue to seek out a quality education at Trine.”
Earlier this year, Trine was honored on the Princeton Review’s “Best in the Midwest.”
Using a wide range of data sources, U.S. News analysts and editors calculated more
than 80 Best Colleges rankings, all with the intent of enabling students and their
families to identify colleges that best meet their needs. The rankings highlight colleges
that excel in such areas as value, social mobility, teaching, veterans’ needs, HBCUs
and in six academic disciplines (business, computer science, engineering, nursing,
economics and psychology).
