Trine University’s spring enrollment has once again set a record, with more than 13,000
enrolled across all locations and platforms.
Trine had 13,513 students enrolled in all programs for the spring 2025 semester in
its official headcount, almost 5% above the 12,891 enrolled a year ago.
Among the areas seeing significant enrollment increases were programs offered through
the Brooks College of Health Professions in Fort Wayne.
Last fall, Trine University opened a $42.5 million, 110,000-square-foot facility near
Parkview Regional Medical Center to serve those programs.
“Our students and families recognize that Trine University not only creates degree
programs that meet community needs while providing well-paying employment opportunities
for our graduates, we also invest in the infrastructure to provide a high-quality
education for the growing number of students in those areas,” said Earl D. Brooks
II, Ph.D., Trine University president.
“When you factor in the personal attention our students receive from expert faculty,
it makes for a winning combination that continues to draw increased numbers of students
to Trine.”
The university also saw significant year-over-year growth in the number of new students
starting at its Angola campus and in the number of dual enrollment students it is
serving.
“We’re proud that the number of high schools, homeschool students and parents who
recognize that Trine is a quality, affordable option for earning college credit continues
to grow,” said Kim Bennett, vice president for enrollment management.
“And of course, we’re really pleased that a number of those students recognize the
quality of a Trine education and decide to complete their degree here.”
Trine’s continued strong career outcomes for its graduates also continues to attract
students to the university. Trine University recently announced that 99.1% of its
Class of 2024 had obtained their desired career outcome within six months of graduation.
Trine’s placement average has been more than 99% over the past 12 years.
