Trine enrolls record number of summer students

July 17, 2025

Continuing its track record of record enrollment, Trine University welcomed nearly 700 more students this summer enrollment compared to the same period a year ago.

Trine had 7,407 students enrolled in all programs for the summer 2025 terms in its official headcount, compared to 6,751 in 2024.

The figure mirrors record enrollment in the fall and spring semesters. Trine enrolled nearly 15,000 students in fall 2024 and more than 13,000 in spring 2025.

“We’re proud that record numbers of students continue to recognize the value of a Trine University education in an environment where many colleges and universities are struggling to attract students,” said Earl D. Brooks II, Ph.D., Trine University president. “Our career-focused majors, personal attention, state-of-the-art facilities, vibrant campus life and 99% career and graduate school placement are a winning combination for a growing number of students and their families.”

The summer totals reflect increased numbers in programs in Trine’s dual enrollment programs, programs at the Brooks College of Health Professions in Fort Wayne, TrineOnline and hybrid programs.
