Andrew Ripp will bring his blend of pop, soul and his own faith journey to the Ryan
Concert Hall stage inside Trine University’s T. Furth Center for Performing Arts on
Saturday, Nov. 14.
The concert begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening one hour prior. Tickets are available at trine.edu/furthtickets for $30.
VIP tickets, which include a meet and greet, are $50.
Stronger together
Andrew Ripp released his full-length album “The Mercy Room” following his consistent radio hot streak.
“The Mercy Room” reminds us amid great division that we are much stronger when we’re together.
“Just because we don’t all see things the same way doesn’t mean we can’t love one another,” he said. “I think I read somewhere that we’re to love even our enemies. I’ve found this to be one of the most powerful things a man can do to leave the world a better place than when we found it.”
The album includes the popular single “Breakdown,” which he wrote to encourage listeners that breakdowns in life can be breakthroughs if you choose to see them that way.
His previous radio singles reached Billboard’s top 5, including historic No. 1 singles “Jericho” and “Fill My Cup.”
Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Ripp creates music that pushes the boundaries of genre stereotypes, blending the energetic beats of pop music with a tinge of soul – all underlined by his personal journey of faith.
In addition to his breakout single “Jericho” reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Airplay Chart, he co-wrote the Grammy-nominated “Rescue Story” for artist Zach Williams.
As a touring artist, Ripp has opened for Sara Bareilles, Andy Grammer, Ben Rector, Jon Foreman, Mercy Me and Plain White T’s, among others. He has performed on TV shows including ABC’s “Bachelor in Paradise and Entertainment Tonight.”
His songs have been featured on “American Idol,” “House of Lies,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “One Tree Hill,” “Live to Dance” and “Vampire Diaries” just to mention a few.
Ripp celebrated his 16-year sober anniversary this past January, which was right after the arrival of his third child.
