June 24, 2026

Trine University has launched a new online Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree program for professionals seeking to advance their leadership expertise, strengthen strategic decision-making skills and address complex organizational challenges through applied research.

Classes began June 8. New cohorts start every eight weeks.

Trine’s DBA offers five specialized tracks: technology management, operations management, business analytics, public administration and healthcare administration.

“Our online platform offers flexibility and convenience for executives who are juggling multiple responsibilities but are looking to develop the strategic skills to advance to the C suite or move into a faculty role,” said Keirsten Eberts, vice president of online and international studies.

Coursework covers leadership, business strategy, executive communication, artificial intelligence, analytics and organizational decision-making, all designed to strengthen advanced business skill sets.

Students in the program will choose an applied research topic focused on solving real-world business and organizational challenges that align with their professional goals and industry experience.

Graduates will be equipped to implement advanced research to solve complex business problems, develop strategic leadership principles as well as specific strategies.

Students who have completed a master’s program at Trine may apply up to 12 credits toward the DBA, creating a streamlined pathway to a terminal degree.
