The cybersecurity concentration within Trine's Bachelor of Science in computer and information technology is designed to help you protect data from those who try and access it for unethical or unlawful purposes. Upon graduation, you will enter the workforce or graduate school as a leader in the protection of data assets.

Courses within Trine's cybersecurity concentration equip you with the knowledge to earn industry-relevant certifications before graduation: A+, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Network+, Security+, Offensive Security Certified Professional and Certified Ethical Hacker. You will also receive hands-on learning experiences on the techniques, policies, operational procedures and technologies that secure and defend the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data online. Throughout the concentration you will have the opportunity to participate in cyberdefense competitions, furthering your advantage in a competitive job market.
