Originally from Brussels, Belgium, I hold a master’s degree in Event Management and have always been passionate about creating unforgettable experiences. My journey to the U.S. began as an exchange student at Indian Creek High School in Trafalgar, Indiana, where I met my wife. That connection brought me back to the States, and I now live in Hamilton with her and our energetic Australian Shepherd.
I discovered Esports at age 13, competing in Call of Duty tournaments. Frustrated by the lack of local opportunities, I launched my own Esports company in Belgium to host events and grow the competitive scene.
When I was younger, school wasn’t my thing, my focus was entirely on competing in video games. Fortunately, my parents saw an opportunity. They set clear expectations: I could only play if I maintained good grades, strong attendance, and respectful behavior. They also gave me advice that stuck with me: an Esports career can be short, but if I studied something I could apply to the industry, I might build a lifelong career. That guidance changed everything. I went from a kid who had little interest in school to earning a master’s degree, and today, I’ve been working in Esports for over a decade.

I’m from East Texas and earned my B.S. in Computer Science at Stephen F. Austin State University. I first got into esports by cheering on pro teams like Cloud9 and T1 and this passion grew into a focus on building sustainable collegiate programs.
While at SFA, I turned that focus into action by founding the university’s first official esports organization, creating opportunities for students to compete and connect through gaming. Recognizing the need for more coordinated competition beyond a single campus, I went on to establish the Texas Collegiate Esports Conference. The conference provided a consistent framework for intercollegiate play, helping schools create and refine their own programs while giving students meaningful, organized competition.
Since then, I’ve collaborated with others across the field to support program development, guide student recruitment efforts, and contribute to broader initiatives in the collegiate esports space. My focus remains on building environments where competitive gaming, campus engagement, and academic goals reinforce one another.
