Everyone is invited to come check out our HAC events! Big or small, we're sure you'll love them all. The Humanities and Communications department has a variety of events for nearly every occasion, check out some of our main events, hosted annually, below:
The event, which is free and open to the public, takes place in the Rick L. & Vicki L. James University Center mall, which will have tables of books for community members, students and Trine staff to browse and take several for free.
Haunted Hall of Humanities
Trine University’s Department of Humanities and Communication presents its annual Haunted Hall of Humanities every Halloween in Taylor Hall. The campus community and the public have are invited to see frightful sights throughout the historic building.
Overlooked Film Festival
The Overlooked Film Festival gives members of Trine’s local community the opportunity to watch free films that were not released locally or that were generally “overlooked” at the time of their release.
Playing for Pets
The Playing for Pets video game event raises money for the Steuben County Humane Society and raises awareness of the diversity of video games as an art form.
The Humanities Symposia is a series of presentations and discussions that cover a wide range of topics related to the humanities.
