ANGOLA, INDIANA, October 13, 2020—Trine University’s Humanities and Communication Department is hosting a Time Capsule event from Oct. 13 to Nov. 12.

To commemorate the interesting 2020 year, all Jannen School students and faculty are invited to submit items to the HAC 2020 Time Capsule, not to be opened until 2030. Submissions can include any small object(s), letters, photos, artwork, etc.

Submissions are open from Oct. 13 to Nov. 6. Submissions can be dropped off in Taylor Hall at Chandra’s office—located on the first floor across from Well’s Gallery—between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. A closing ceremony for the Time Capsule will take place in Best 229 on Nov. 12 at 4 p.m. The ceremony will be integrated into the HAC Senior Send Off.

“The Time Capsule event is a fun way to commemorate this past crazy year, and we are very excited to get that going very soon and are hoping that we get a lot of participation for our Time Capsule,” Noah Swift, junior communications major and one of the students helping to plan the event, said.

Students and staff are invited to take to the stage and share their submission piece with the crowd following the Send Off portion of the event. To register, please click the link:
