Summary

The Enterprise Application Analyst plays a key role in supporting and enhancing the University’s enterprise applications and system integrations. Working closely with the Applications Team and various campus departments, this position ensures the reliability, efficiency, and effectiveness of core systems including the Student Information System (SIS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and housing platforms. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative problem-solver with a passion for improving business processes through technology.  This position reports to the Enterprise Applications Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and optimize data integrations between enterprise applications to improve performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with departments across the University to analyze workflows, identify process improvements, and implement automation solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and application integrations to ensure they align with institutional goals and business requirements.
  • Serve as the primary technical and functional support for:
    • Slate – Admissions and Advancement (Main Campus)
    • StarRez – Housing Services
  • Provide back-up support for IT needs related to institutional reporting.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through timely and clear written and verbal communication.
  • Document system processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
  • Preferred Experience: 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including experience with stored procedures and database programming.
    • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or similar platforms.
    • Familiarity with ETL tools, particularly Microsoft SSIS or comparable solutions.
    • An ability to independently manage multiple tasks, projects, and support tickets in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
    • High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Experience in a higher education IT environment is strongly preferred.
