Administrative Assistant to the Director of Physician Assistant Clinical Education and the Rinker Ross School of Health Sciences Dean. This position of Administrative Assistant requires an individual who can be personable and provide academic and professional support within the program, school, university, and community.  He/she must be committed to the centrality of a Trine University education and possess the ability to support faculty and staff in achieving excellence in teaching, scholarship, outreach, and engagement. 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the MPAS Clinical Coordinator/Team and the RRSHS Dean
  • Assist in the research, creation and distribution of reports, syllabi, and other program documentation with a high level of accuracy
  • Support the implementation and management of an online clinical education database
  • Create and maintain effective electronic and hard copy filing systems
  • Purchase program supplies and equipment as directed
  • Assist with student admissions and orientation processes
  • Interact with faculty and clinical preceptors in a personable and professional manner
  • Promote Trine’s school programs to potential students and the community
  • Attend faculty meetings and participate in faculty committees as assigned
  • Assist in the comprehensive and the ongoing accreditation processes related to the clinical education components of the MPAS program with a high level of accuracy
  • Additional duties and assignments as prescribed by the RRSHS Dean and MPAS Clinical Coordinator

 Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years of administrative support with a record of excellence. Experience in an educational environment is preferred but not necessary
  • Experience with a variety of office software, such as email, scheduling, word processing and spreadsheet programs
  • Proficiency with office equipment (copiers, scanners, etc), and ability to troubleshoot related problems
