The Department of Criminal Justice is now accepting applications for a permanent, full-time faculty position of Assistant Professor beginning in August 2019. Teaching responsibilities will focus on specific components of the criminal justice system. High quality teaching of undergraduate students is our main priority; however, faculty are encouraged to engage in professional development and scholarship activities as well.
A Ph.D. in criminal justice or a related field is preferred; a master’s degree in these fields will be considered, especially if it is accompanied by significant professional experience. Candidates with expertise and experience in criminal justice administration are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, participate in the advising of students and will assist in the advising of student organizations related to the department.
