Summary
The Enrollment Counselor – Health Professions is an entry-level recruitment professional responsible for driving qualified student interest and enrollment for Trine University’s Brooks College of Health Professions (BCHP) with a primary emphasis on Nursing, Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD), and Surgical Technology, and secondary support for other BCHP programs. This position builds relationships with prospective students, counselors, and community partners, manages recruitment events, conducts admissions advising, and supports yield initiatives to meet enrollment goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Initiate and maintain proactive contact with prospective students, including phone, email, text, and CRM outreach, encouraging program interest and application completion
- Meet benchmarks of engagement, contact weekly with prospective students
- Prepares the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports
- Represent Trine University and BCHP programs at fairs, health career events, community colleges, and partner sites
- Assists with the setup of all CAS systems for Graduate Programs
- Align all outward-facing communications related to BCHP programs to ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and program positioning across platforms and audiences
- Participate in the development of innovative enrollment marketing print publications, digital and web assets, recruitment videos and presentations, and marketing materials for both undergraduate and graduate recruitment needs that inspire, engage, and inform in accordance with marketing.
- Engage in frequent communication with both the admission and marketing teams on the Angola campus, as well as BCHP program directors and the dean.
- Primary management of media accounts, digital marketing efforts, and the content of its web pages, consistent with university policies, branding guidelines, and overall strategic marketing plans for Fort Wayne programs.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Admissions Counseling & Yield
- Provide admissions recruitment specific to health profession pathways, including program requirements, application steps, prerequisites, and career outcomes.
- Guide prospects through application, program prerequisites, financial aid basics, and deadlines.
- Facilitate campus visits, department-specific tours, simulation lab experiences, and accepted student events.
- Support yield events and activities to convert admitted students to enrolled.
Event & CRM Management
- Plan, coordinate, and attend recruitment events and virtual information sessions.
- Enter and maintain accurate prospective student data in the CRM system, track engagement, and log outreach outcomes.
- Utilizes CRM for events, trips, and any outreach
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure materials are program-specific and effectively highlight BCHP strengths and outcomes.
Reporting & Performance Metrics
- Meet or exceed established recruitment and enrollment goals for BCHP programs.
- Meet or exceed engagement contacts weekly.
- Prepare recruitment performance reports and contribute insights for strategy refinement.
- Participate in weekly admission team meetings and strategic planning activities.
Education and/or Experience
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required
- 1-2 years of experience in higher education in a relevant area preferred
