Summary

The International Services Processor is responsible for processes related to international students records. The International Processing Assistant works within the international system for the processing of SEVIS records. This person is responsible batch management and assigning requests to appropriate staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Update international student information in the international system.
  • Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO).
  • Assign international student requests to appropriate staff members within the international system.
  • Assist with merging duplicate student records.
  • Process initial I-20s for new students.
  • Oversee the processing of SEVIS initial registration in the international system.
  • Communicate with the academic team regarding student status changes.
  • Process international student deferral requests.
  • Process international student deposits.
  • Assist with admission processes when and if needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Working knowledge of technologies.

Education and/or Experience

A minimum high school or GED diploma required.

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with international student relations.
