Summary

The Registrar Coordinator provides general office support and customer service for the Office of the Registrar, including event management support, and transcript processing support. Coordinate and collaborate with various campus offices regarding the scheduling of staff, spaces, and resources. Practice problem-solving to meet the needs of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Office of the Registrar with the planning and implementation of Trine University academic ceremonies and events, including multiple Commencement ceremonies, Honors Day, Countdown to Commencement, and Senior Salute (25%)
  • Transfer credit data entry into the Jenzabar student information system (20%)
  • Provide office support, including staffing the front desk and phones, data clean-up, updating websites, filing student records (file, purge, shred), supporting athletic academic eligibility processes, prepping outgoing mail, scheduling meetings, running reports, ordering supplies (20%)
  • Provide excellent customer service through the use of Fresh Service emails (15%)
  • Process outgoing paper and electronic official academic transcripts (10%)
  • Provide education verifications in various formats, including using the National Student Clearinghouse website. (5%)
  • Other duties as assigned (5%)

Bachelor’s Degree, with preference to degrees and/or experience in education.
