Summary

The Student Affairs Coordinator has the direct responsibility for coordinating the day-to-day operations of and providing administrative support to the functions within the Office of Student Affairs.  This position requires a high level of confidentiality, the ability to multi-task and experience with Microsoft Office and software programs used within the University departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Coordinator works and contributes through a team-oriented approach to assist the Office of Student Affairs in the overall operations.  The Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are to provide coordination, administrative assistance and collaborative services to the department heads within the Office of Student Affairs.   

  • Provides administrative coordination for the divisions within the Office of Student Affairs.
  • Provide customer service to students, parents, staff and guests of the campus community.
  • Assist with the hiring, training and scheduling of student workers assigned to the Office of Student Affairs.
  • Assist with the coordination of various services within the Academic Success Center.
  • Assist in creating and disseminating weekly, monthly or annual reports on behalf of the Office of Student Affairs.
  • Assist the Vice President with budgetary functions.
  • Assist the Vice President with overseeing the operations and budgetary needs of the Trine Student Health Center.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Student Affairs.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • Two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Associates degree preferred
