25th Annual Alumni & Friends Scholarship Golf Outing is in full swing

A record-setting number of golfers tee off today (Aug. 7) at Trine University’s Zollner Golf Course to participate in the 25th annual Alumni & Friends Scholarship Golf Outing. A total of 276 golfers are participating with a morning flight of 33 four-person teams and a full afternoon flight of 36 four-person teams. The annual golf outing benefits the Trine Fund for scholarships, which enables deserving students to earn a degree at Trine. Last year, more than $85,000 was raised for the scholarship fund.

Liberatore receives award at AIChE annual meeting

Matthew Liberatore, Ph.D., chair of Trine University’s McKetta Department of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering, received a national award and gave several presentations during the annual meeting of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), held Nov. 1-4 in Boston.
