University receives final installment of Regional Cities funding

The university received the first installment last year.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation approved the funding following a recommendation from the Northeast Indiana Regional Development Authority. The Northeast Indiana RDA is responsible for distributing $42 million in funds granted to the 11-county region through Indiana’s Regional Cities Initiative.

Haffner, a corporate lawyer with Faegre Baker Daniels law firm in Fort Wayne, community leader and a member of Trine University’s Board of Trustees, was honored with the Sagamore of the Wabash following the dedication of the university’s Brooks College of Health Professions on Sept. 27.
