University receives more than $22K from Community Foundation

SCCFTrine University received more than $22,000 in grants from the Steuben County Community Foundation at the foundation’s annual meeting Aug. 9 in Club Z inside the MTI Center.

Steven Nicolet, director of annual giving, accepted checks totaling $22,341 from funds designated to Trine and managed by the foundation from Jennifer Danic, president and CEO of the foundation. Some of the funds are designated for student scholarships, while others will support the Trine Fund.

The foundation awarded more than $300,000 to more than 50 local nonprofits at the event.
