Trine University received more than $22,000 in grants from the Steuben County Community
Foundation at the foundation’s annual meeting Aug. 9 in Club Z inside the MTI Center.
Steven Nicolet, director of annual giving, accepted checks totaling $22,341 from funds designated to Trine and managed by the foundation from Jennifer Danic, president and CEO of the foundation. Some of the funds are designated for student scholarships, while others will support the Trine Fund.
The foundation awarded more than $300,000 to more than 50 local nonprofits at the event.
The Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) has selected Keirsten Eberts, vice president for online and international studies at Trine University, to be part of the sixth cohort of its ICI Leadership Academy.
Trine University welcomed 28 students from Impact Institute and the Whitko Career Academy on Saturday, Feb. 7, for a SkillsUSA criminal justice competition.
On Dec. 4, 1956, four rock and roll legends came together for a studio session. Nearly 70 years later, fans can get a taste of what that music sounded like at Trine University’s T. Furth Center for Performing Arts.
