‘Mock Lock-Up’ raises more than $2,000

March 01, 2019

The second annual "CJ Mock Lock-Up" fundraiser raised more than $2,000 for Trine University's American Criminal Justice Association-TAO Chapter (ACJA-TAO).

Held Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the Rick L. and Vicki L. James University Center, the event featured 12 students, faculty and staff who had to raise “bail money” in order to be released. Money given at the event and online donations totaled $2212.50.

The money raised will go to support 18 students and two faculty headed to Hunt Valley, Maryland, over Spring Break for the ACJA National Conference. Trine's ACJA will compete against dozens of other colleges and universities from across the nation.
